Mora Pope married Sara Prendalope, a Swiss National he met in South America where he had a coffee plantation and was a coffee dealer. He later returned to Boston, Mass, then moving to Philadelphia, Pa. Mora was born between 1786-1789 in Sheffield, Great Barrington or Hubbardstown, Mass.

Lived on the farm at Barnsboro, NJ. He had a florist business then later became a carpenter.
